Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of YDABlocks, a product of Young's Digital Atelier LLC ("YDABlocks," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility & accounts for minors

You may use YDABlocks if you are 13 or older. If you are under 13, an account can only be created with a parent or guardian's consent: the guardian receives a consent request by email, sets the account password themselves, and the account does not exist until they approve it. Guardians can review or revoke consent at any time through account settings or by contacting us.

2. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. Accounts require a verified email address (a one-time code sent to your inbox) before any paid feature is accessible. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Subscriptions & billing

The Builder and My Builds features are free, permanently. Training Pairs, Fine-Tune, Product, and Chat require a paid subscription ($3.99/month or $29.99/year at time of writing), billed and processed by Stripe. You can cancel at any time from Billing settings — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless you choose to downgrade immediately. School and district licenses are billed under separate terms agreed at signing.

4. Your content

Builds, training pairs, and chat products you create remain yours. You grant us a license to store and process them solely to operate the Service for you (e.g., displaying your saved builds, running your training pairs through Fine-Tune). We do not sell your content or use it to train models outside your own account's features.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use YDABlocks to violate the law, harass others, attempt to bypass security or billing controls, or submit training pairs/content containing illegal material. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

6. Disclaimers

YDABlocks teaches a simplified, structurally honest model of how transformers work — it is an educational tool, not a production AI system, and its example answers reflect curated demonstrations or your own training pairs rather than a general-purpose model. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be noted here with an updated date. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
