Sub-processors

YDABlocks does not share student identifying data with third-party sub-processors.

1. Where student learning data lives

Student learning data — including the builds a student creates, roster information, and conversations with the Richard assistant — is processed and stored on infrastructure operated by Young's Digital Atelier. This sensitive data remains under our direct control and is not handed off to outside processors.

2. Limited-function service providers

A small number of service providers assist with limited operational functions such as processing subscription payments and delivering account emails. These providers do not receive or store student identifying data; they handle only the information necessary for their function (for example, an adult account holder's billing details or email address).

3. If this changes

If we engage a provider that would process student identifying data, we will update this page and notify schools whose data agreement requires advance notice.
